How To Clean Oven Racks

Cleaning the oven racks is always a dreaded chore. Here is a simple way to do it.

  1. Take the oven racks out and put them in the bathtub.
  2. Run enough hot water to cover them slightly.
  3. Add a mixture of 1/2 cup of vinegar and 3/4 cup of dish washing detergent and let set for about 2 hours.
  4. Now you can just about rinse the grunge off. It may take a little brushing but not much.
