Great Stuff Insulating Foam Sealant
- Great Stuff has been a great product for many years. It’s tremendous for filling cracks around plumbing lines, air conditioner vents, around doors, and openings into the attic. It is a great insulator. Virtually anywhere there is a crack that needs to be filled. It is airtight can be trimmed flush to surfaces, and can be painted to match adjoining surfaces. It will bond to almost anything including wood, metal, masonry and glass.
- One use related to tiling is when self leveling materials are used. Self leveler is usually applied so thinly that it runs under bottom plates. Run Great Stuff under the plates and trim it off and your problem is solved.
- The only precaution is to not let the can get to hot.
